Through influential members and former professional drivers bringing in better funding, Caliburn was able to expand to a country-wide network of traditionalist yet innovative drivers, engineers, and supporters. By 2140, CRG would have a serious reputation for not only raising a new generation of drivers under their fundamental views, but for being a powerful influence on Brazil's identity within auto racing as a whole, above the "sellout" professional scene that was so widely viewed in disdain.

Caliburn Racing Group took no delay to develop brand new tactics and styles for the new generation of anti-gravity vehicles. Many developments pioneered by them were quickly adopted by similar enthusiast groups worldwide and this only served to increase an interest in anti-gravity racing as a whole. Where the professional racing organisations seemed to fail, Caliburn succeeded. When Gravity Technologies announced that they would form the Anti-Graivty League on the promise of forging a better future for motorsports, Caliburn's members were very interested. Having contacted G-Tek's AGL division with their intentions, Caliburn Racing Group would become their first official partner on the AGL Commission.

By the time of the first AGL season in 2144, Caliburn had become a fearsome but respected team in how it operated. They developed the BR-0 craft using lateral stability technology that was rough but had the potential to be completely unrivalled with further developments. Their pilots were elite, particularly Andre Rafael, considered a tactical genius. In this first season, Caliburn rose to utter notoriety for dominating in many of the technical tracks and if not for Nexus's ship having the advantage of raw speed and control, Caliburn would have dominated. In subsequent years, Caliburn continued to perform well, but advancements in the AGL, revisions craft designs throughout the 2140s, and the adaptability of their opponents made winning outright more of a challenge. It was accepted that Nexus would continue to be the primary threat to everyone else but it never stopped Caliburn from forming their own rivalries. For the time, Tenrai in particular would become a tough contender for them as they improved as a team. At the same time, each encounter strengthened their respect for one another.

By 2151, the game had changed. A next generation craft was required by the AGL to accommodate upcoming shifts in standards; faster crafts and weapons through the BallisticNG Initiative were here. The first BNG spec year, 2152, brought sweeping and unprecedented changes. Nexus caved to the pressure of combat while every team including Caliburn put their next generation ships to the worst stress tests yet seen. Though most fans had a positive reaction to the introduction of combat, the pilots struggled to adapt. Caliburn was quick to declare itself partially pacifistic, with Andre Rafael in particular claiming to use their craft's weapons systems in its own defense. Tenrai similarly denounced the concept of combat racing and opted to do the same as Caliburn and claimed they will defend them if needed. The first unofficial alliance in the AGL was formed.

2157 was by far the roughest year for Caliburn. Having been recovering their season success after the surprise domination of Barracuda in 2154 and additional changes in the AGL, G-Tek began to take issue with Caliburn's lateral stabiliation technology. Citing the effects on the league as a whole dealt by Barracuda as a disruption, G-Tek with the rest of the AGL Commission suspended Caliburn from the AGL for the season until they could enter a ship that met the new regulation. Viewing these regulations to be a start to overbearing regulations that were the downfall of previous generation racing organisations, Caliburn were outraged. When the news fell upon the Brazilian public it was disaster. What would follow became the worst example of civil unrest in the 22nd century: The Caliburn Riots. As a result of this, Brazil's government took action to pressure G-Tek and the AGL into resolving the dispute. Promising to provide Caliburn similar treatment as Barracuda with its own subleague in the AGL the following year, the riots ceased. Unfortunately this was not seen as a proper solution. The Caliburn league ended up being considered an insult due to its anemic focus and various issues with morale within Caliburn pilots for being forced into isolated race events. Caliburn demanded reintegration. G-Tek offered to respect this demand if Caliburn would revise their craft to compromise with the new standards. Begrudgingly, they developed a revision on the CR-0 with slightly less impressive statistics but they strengthened their weapons systems. Renato Cardoso was making it clear that in 2159, Caliburn would return with a vengeance.{{HeaderNormal|HEADER=AGL 2159 season}}Today, Caliburn is in flux. Arrow team background

Caliburn Brasil started in 2134 as Caliburn Racing Group by Renato Cardoso, a living legend among Brazil's underground racing scene. Foundations of the group were inspired by a famous legendary driver of the past. Caliburn operated entirely under the radar for a number of years, hosting a variety of racing events for enthusiasts disillusioned with the direction that official racing sports have taken. Promising to revive the glory days of the 20th century before "the world became too boring to rake risks", members of CRG met with anything they could consider race-worthy; anything from 20th and 21st century relics, contemporary vehicles of both wheeled and anti-gravity design, and other oddities.

The Brazilian government, taking note of the recent developments and not wanting to be left out, made moves to secure their place within this exciting new venture. Caliburn Racing Group were offered a position as the national team for the AGL, vowing to allow them to carry on with their independent operations but providing true funding to develop the team into a proper contender. After various negotiations, Caliburn Racing Group became Caliburn Brasil.

By 2151, the game had changed. A next generation craft was required by the AGL to accommodate upcoming shifts in standards; faster crafts and weapons through the BallisticNG Initiative were here. The first BNG spec year, 2152, brought sweeping and unprecedented changes. Today, Caliburn is in flux. Although in the process of reintegrating into the standard AGL league, the team is not completely considered an active participant. Whenever Caliburn does get to be involved though, their new CR-1 revision proves to be just as capable if not more than their original entry. Pilots Andre Rafael and Gabi Varela are still just as fearsome as their reputations suggest and new strategies make them even more of a threat than they were prior to Caliburn's suspension.
