Nexus are a european Anti-Gravity R&D unit formed by G-Tek in 2125, which became indipendent in 2140. Their 2159 Nti-4 model focuses entirely on speed, sacrificing handling and weapons technology.

Born in 2125 as a subsidiary of G-tek, Nexus International is a pan-european research venture specialized in high-performance, racing-minded AG research since its inception.
Home of the NX Initiative, which would produce formidable prototypes such as the NX500 and the nx 2000 (respectively the first and first semi-stable AG racing craft ever manufactured), the company would later rebrand from "GTek Nexus" to "Nexus International" following its donation to G-Tek's european backers, becoming its own entity somewhere around 2140.
Refounding just in time to enter the newly-announced Anti-Gravity League, Nexus would rock the tracks throughout the entire first season, its proprietary Nti-4 craft more than living up to its reputation as the nx 2000's successor.

Nexus was formed in 2125 by G-Tek visionary Kenta Iwazaki was G-Tek Nexus in order to lead by example during a time of mass experimentation with AG technology in racing applications. Many people felt this new technology needed an entire evolution to be successful rather than just attempting to modify existing systems to suit the new standard. While G-Tek had been busy creating new standards by which they wanted their technology to be adopted for, their resources within the company was not sufficient to manage all of their projects so Iwazaki created G-Tek Nexus in Japan and attempted to secure more funding from the Japanese government as was done for G-Tek as a whole. This time the Japanese government refused, stating that they were already providing enough towards the cause. Undeterred, Iwazaki moved the division to Europe after directly appealing to the Austrian government, whom he knew would enthusiastically support AG development. He was correct. Austria provided enough backing to continue G-Tek Nexus' operations, including accelerating the development of the NX Initiative, a research project to develop a next-generation AG-reliant racing vehicle. By 2128 the NX500 prototype was complete. Nothing short of crude and unsafe, this craft wasn't suitable for flying out of the testing centre much less being raced but the implications were clear: Nothing will ever be the same. The NX500 was iterated upon, becoming the NX1000 and NX1500. By this point, G-Tek Nexus had obtained official government backing from Germany, France, and Switzerland, allowing them to push their standards higher and freeing G-Tek itself from most of its funding responsibilities, allowing the company to focus on its home division with the civilian market and improving the core AG technology further. In 2133, the NX2000 was completed. Considered to be the first "true" AG racing ship, the NX2000 was stable enough to be considered a reference model and was demonstrated at G-Tek's annual expo that year. Poland and Hungary contributed their support following this demonstration. Satisfied with the results of the NX Initiative, Iwazaki diverted some of G-Tek Nexus's resources back into Tomoya Yamada's group at G-Tek to focus on a new project, which would eventually manifest into the G-Tek racing team and the Anti-Gravity League as a whole in 2140. By this time, G-Tek Nexus was less involved with G-Tek's business, was mostly supported by several European governments as if it were an agency, and many of its researchers were heavily fixated on creating something new. G-Tek surrendered control of G-Tek Nexus to its European backers, trusting in their ability to progress on their own. G-Tek Nexus became Nexus International and quickly became fixated on aggressive performance and bleeding edge technology to drive that performance. While G-Tek proper was focused on stable improvements to serve as a reference for others, Nexus carried on its traditions in development and produced absolute beasts. During the 2144 AGL Season, Nexus dominated many of the races they participated in, challenged only by Tenrai and Caliburn. During the years leading up to 2152, they still held records and became involved in a strong rivalry with Tenrai. The other teams were catching up, but Nexus held an edge in every year. After the introduction of weapons into the AGL, Nexus became slightly less threatening as its weak shielding and poor handling made it vulnerable to attacks. Nexus currently has the highest craft casualty rate in the AGL resulting in considerably less wins.
AGL 2159 season
Despite the problems adapting to the violence, Nexus is still a very respectable team that only fools underestimate. To date, the only team to outright best them was Barracuda, and with the recent pent-up aggression displayed on the track between the other teams, Nexus has sometimes been allowed to sail by unaffected, resulting in easier victories.
