The Tokyo Bowl was the first venture into Drag track design. Built while the Barracuda model B was still only a prototype, this course was designed as a simple loop for fear of failure, in matters of safety and marketability. Today, the course is known for its enthusiastic crowds and fanfare. While simplistic, the Tokyo Bowl paved the way for more complex and exotic Model B circuits.
